6:76 So when the night covered him [with darkness], he saw a star. He said, "This is my lord." But when it set, he said, "I like not those that disappear."
Everything about God will feel good in our hearts. God will never command anything that would feel bad in our hearts. We would like everything about God.
he said, "I like not those that disappear."
There are two things - Brain and Heart. Ibrahim A.S used his heart first, instead of a logical approach of the mind. That i find, amazing. When i think about it, there are many things that our mind cannot figure out through logical reasoning. But our heart can.
For eg. The concept of righteousness and sin. Our mind cannot find out if something is righteousness or sin. But our heart can figure it out.
Heard below hadith from a lecture given by Sh. yasir fazaga - The 6 C's of Character :-
The Prophet (ṣallallāḥu `alayhi wa-sallam) has explained this beautifully. In one ḥadīth, we are informed, “Al birru husn al-khulūq,” which means, “Righteousness is about having good character.” He (ṣallallāḥu `alayhi wa-sallam) then said, “As for sin, it is that which pricks into your heart, and you do not want it to be exposed to people.”
36:16 They said, "Our Lord knows that we are messengers to you,
36:17 And we are not responsible except for clear notification."
36:18 They said, "Indeed, we consider you a bad omen. If you do not desist, we will surely stone you, and there will surely touch you, from us, a painful punishment."
When Clear Notifications come, our instinct is to reject it. We have learn to see and hear Allah. What matters is not the person who notifies, or the way in which it was notified.
What matters is the message in it. Isn't it Clear?? Can't you HEAR? Think Think Think.
67:8 It almost bursts with rage. Every time a company is thrown into it, its keepers ask them, "Did there not come to you a warner?"
67:9 They will say," Yes, a warner had come to us, but we denied and said, ' Allah has not sent down anything. You are not but in great error.' "
67:10 And they will say, "If only we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze."
67:11 And they will admit their sin, so [it is] alienation for the companions of the Blaze.
Have you heard the birds singing early morning. Here are some facts about them :
1) Its beautiful
2) Its usually one bird singing loudly. So it is not a talk between two or more birds. If it was talk , a bird would have made a sound then another would have replied. But this is singing.
3) Bird is not just singing any popular pop song. It is the same song, same music, day by day, every morning. Its repetition.
4) No matter what happens in the world - wars, festivals, celebrations , calamities etc , they continue to sing.
5) Its like our prayer - that we do. Same thing - same sounds every day. The birds are praying. Subhana Allah.
6:38 And there is no creature on [or within] the earth or bird that flies with its wings except [that they are] communities like you. We have not neglected in the Register a thing. Then unto their Lord they will be gathered.
16:79 Do they not see the birds controlled in the atmosphere of the sky? None holds them up except Allah . Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.
24:41 Do you not see that Allah is exalted by whomever is within the heavens and the earth and [by] the birds with wings spread [in flight]? Each [of them] has known his [means of] prayer and exalting [Him], and Allah is Knowing of what they do.
38:19 And the birds were assembled, all with him repeating [praises].
67:19 Do they not see the birds above them with wings outspread and [sometimes] folded in? None holds them [aloft] except the Most Merciful. Indeed He is, of all things, Seeing.
When God planned to create man, the angels said
2:30 And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know."
Today, we ourself ask, Why with all the corruption and blood. But we should remember Allah is Greatest. He knows what we know not. Things are never in our control. But they are in Control of Allah. Never worry.
The Seal is in place. The envelope is closed. We don't require any more magic or illusions. Everything is already sealed. Now its time to LIVE aright.
A message from Allah to Muslims
8:20 O you who have believed, obey Allah and His Messenger and do not turn from him while you hear [his order].
8:21 And do not be like those who say, "We have heard," while they do not hear.
8:22 Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are the deaf and dumb who do not use reason
By, Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad
Translated to english by Syed Abdul Latif
The world famous Urdu translation of the Holy Quran by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, one of India’s greatest leaders, is now available in an abridged version. Tarjumanul Quran, which Maulana Azad, independent India’s first Education Minister, wrote in the 1940s was never completed. It took several years before his scattered works were located to help complete the new abridged version.
The original Tarjumanul Quran was praised by Arabic scholars as one of the best translations of the Quran. Besides being a freedom fighter and national leader, Maulana Azad was a revered Arabic scholar, widely known in the Muslim world.
